Cockroach Control

Cockroaches are more than just an eyesore; they are a significant health risk, known to spread bacteria and trigger asthma or allergies. Because they are nocturnal and prolific breeders, seeing one often means there are dozens more hiding nearby. At Repel Pest Solutions, we provide targeted treatments to eliminate existing populations and prevent future hatchings.

Signs You Have an Infestation

Cockroaches are experts at hiding in wall voids, under appliances, and inside cupboards. Look for these warning signs:

Visible Sightings (Day or Night)

While cockroaches are nocturnal, seeing them during the day is a sign of a "crowded" nest. If they are forced out into the light to find food, the infestation is likely well-established.

Droppings (Fecal Matter)

Small cockroaches leave behind droppings that look like black pepper or coffee grounds. Larger species, like the American Cockroach, produce small, cylindrical droppings with ridged sides. You’ll typically find these in cupboards, drawers, or behind refrigerators.

Smear Marks

In areas with high moisture, such as laundry rooms or under kitchen sinks, cockroaches leave dark, irregular smear marks on horizontal surfaces and at the base of walls where they crawl.

Egg Cases (Oothecae)

Cockroaches don't just lay single eggs; they produce "cases" called oothecae. These are small, brown, pill-shaped capsules. Finding empty cases behind furniture or in pantry corners is a clear sign that a new generation has recently hatched.

Our Proven Eradication Method

We use a “find and finish” approach to ensure your property remains cockroach-free.

Identification

We determine if you are dealing with German Cockroaches (typically found indoors/kitchens) or Australian/American Cockroaches (often entering from gardens or drains).

01

Precision Baiting/Spraying

We use professional-grade gel baits that cockroaches carry back to the nest, eliminating the colony at the source.

02

Residual Barriers

We apply safe, long-lasting barriers to entry points and "hot zones" like motor housings and skirting boards to prevent re-entry.
